COMMITTEE: One Day in April
Each spring semester, the PRSSA One Day in April Committee plans and hosts a film screening of the Little 500 documentary One Day in April, which follows the 2013 Little 500 race and each athlete's extensive training and preparation leading up to it. Tom Miller, BAJ'12, and a team of other IU alumni produced the 2015 documentary, and PRSSA committee members plan and promote an on-campus screening every year and work with local businesses to sell DVD copies.
Previous committee members have created screening posters, contacted local businesses about selling the film, partnered with Bloomington cinemas to show the movie, and more.
This committee is a great way to get event planning experience and to interact with local businesses and alumni.
