Bateman Competition 2018

Last night, I realized this semester has revolved around scooters, virtual reality glasses and the number four.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My jam-packed semester is part of PRSSA’s Bateman Competition, a national case study in which more than 70 PRSSA chapters develop a comprehensive public relations campaign for a specific client.

It’s essentially the class PR Campaigns 349 in overdrive – you don’t simply draft a request-for-proposal, but instead research, implement and measure a campaign in six months.

Alongside four teammates, Alexandra Davie, Aspen Schopp, Elli Schank and Melissa Dvojacki, I had the opportunity to spread awareness for the nonprofit With Purpose.

With scooters, virtual reality and the number four, we created the campaign #onlyfour to educate our community about the lack of treatments and funding available for children with cancer.

I’m so proud of the work our team developed and the way we reflected the mission of With Purpose.
